Hang On Lads - I think I’ve got an idea. Ummm…

I was invited to a screening of the new Italian Job film by BMW (because I bought a new Mini).
I hate to say it, but I enjoyed it. Maybe because it was free - maybe because I assumed that it was going to be very bad.

I think one of the reasons it didn’t make me very angry is because it’s effectively a different film from the Original - True, there is a gold heist, there are Minis and there are characters called Charlie Croker and Mr. Bridger - but that’s about it on the similarities front.

Does Jason Statham have some kind of contractual obligation to call people “Friend” in every film he does?

In one scene you can briefly see Edward Norton watching an enormous Plasma Screen - What’s he watching? The original Italian Job of course
